Help! Why is the oven in my new flat sooooo hot that it burns at event he slightest touch to the door or handle?

This place was redeveloped 6 years ago so I know it was bought then. I looked it up and it is very similar, if not the same as, this one

The door heats up so much in use that it is literally burning. Today I had it on longer as I was roasting a chicken and it heated up the handle and the burner knobs so much that I had to use an oven glove to open it. Surely this can't be right???

I have been looking at replacing it because I am so worried - my toddler has already touched it once and screamed. But it is 70cm wide and I can't find any that size that are good and roomy.

Any thoughts on this??

It could be that the door seals have gone .I had this happen once ,different oven, and replaced them and all was ok then . Other than that I don't know

I would say its likely to be the seals but if you are renting I would call the landlord and get them to get it fixed.
