Seven years after moving into our house we are finally in a position to have a kitchen extension built. This will involve knocking down an old and dilapidated outbuilding that opens off the tiny kitchen and rebuilding to create a big kitchen/dining room area.
We live in a Victorian semi in a conservation area so we are having an architectural technician who specialises in period houses to draw up the plans and help us with planning permission.
He is coming tomorrow and I have been frantically trying to draw up lists of stuff to ask him. Any thoughts/tips from experienced extensioneers? We already have a builder lined up.
