New Ash Green - views please!

Hello everyone,

After a long battle, I have finally persuaded my other half that we need a bigger house, and one that we actually own.

We are looking in the Kent area around Sevenoaks, but I also have a thing for Span-built estates and I came across New Ash Green. Does anyone on here live there and would you recommend it to a family with 2 small kids?

I wouldn't recommend it. We nearly moved there once but I was advised by someone who lived there and had been trying to move out for a long time. It's pretty isolated so there are a lot of kids hanging around with nothing to do. The shopping centre is extremely depressing and full of empty shops. You'd be better off with Dartford/Northfleet/Greenhithe.

Ok, better off with Dartford scares the s**t out of me!

It's a shame. Love span houses.
