Not sure what colour curtains to buy!

We have a small lounge, with a navy blue leather lounge suite, light laminate flooring and have just painted the walls Wheat - which is slightly pinker than I thought it would be.

We need new curtains and cannot decide: charcoal (I am worried that will be too dark), mink (not sure if that would be too stark)

Any ideas????

Cream/ecru/Antique White USA - something along those lines.

We used to have black velvet curtains but we had 3m ceilings and very big rooms. They would have been oppressive in anything smaller.

whew! we nearly bought beautiful black curtains with a silvery and pinkish swirling flowers from Debenhams. Really beautiful but they did not have the right size. Just as well.....

We don't have any new ones yet, but I will def take up your suggestions, thanks!
