Kitchens-now.co.uk - too good to be true?

Came across this site when googling kitchens and it definitely seems to good to be true - especially this one . The prices seem to be for 'all units shown' rather than one of the typical (tiny) examples most kitchen places use, which makes it even more unbelievable, as some of the kitchens shown are huge.

Just wondered if anyone has used them? It says they've got a big showroom in Blackpool but we're in Scotland, so I'm not able to go and check them out.

Forget that, it would seem they are dodgy - seem to be linked to various other companies called rock solid kitchens / kitchens4less / cheapestkitchensintheworld / kitchen dreams -from the online reviews it seems they just screw people over and then change their name!

Ikea it is

I live in Blackpool and yes they have got a showroom with similar deals on display. I haven't heard good things about them to be honest - people having the wrong stuff delivered, having a terrible time getting things put right etc. I guess you get what you pay for. Would stay away if I were you!

Bought my kitchen from Kitchen Factory outlet in Hull and the whole experience was a JOKE & total disaster. Avoid like to plague. Kitchen quality was poor, doors & drawers didn't fit and I could go on for hours (the actual experience went on for 4 months)..........STAY CLEAR!

Is that the company where the owner has been jailed several times rather than comply with Trading Standards requirements?

SpicyC · 04/02/2011 17:09

I have recently purchased a kitchen from this horrible rip off company "KITCHENS NOW" and I could really reach my hand down the telephone and throttle,Mr Kitchens Now' what a terrible experience in actual fact I feel very violated by the whole experience. There should be a Law against companies like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Just narrowly avoided parting with £100 cash, rest in cash on delivery. No cheques accepted, no card payments. Kitchens for Less, doncaster or hull. The salesman told me to go to the bank to fetch the money. At which point I told him NO THANKS!!! two different addresses given for company, no registered company number, very friendly salesman spent time fussing dog and cats, spent a long time drawing and planning and explaining. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! it's just a ploy to make you feel obliged to not be nasty by refusing to pay!!!

CointreauVersial · 12/02/2011 23:50

Go to B&Q/Homebase/Wickes/Ikea. Inexpensive kitchens and you won't get conned.

davesgirlie01 · 01/08/2013 15:19

I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is!! We used them to try and save some money, really wished we just spent that little extra at wickes or b&q. I am on my fifth delivery that is wrong and trying to speak to a customer service person who has even one brain cell is a complete waste of time, they are unbelievably rude and cut you off more often than not! This is after waiting approximately twenty minutes to get through to them. Please learn by our mistakes and avoid at all costs. Definitely too good to be true :(

susanweb · 23/04/2015 14:36

Got kitchen off them in July 2010 and wish we hadn't wrong items sent 5 times the poor bloke had to come back still not complete holes brackets handles all delivered with no way off putting on cupboards which didn't fit together properly took to court still waiting on outcome x wish we paid bit extra and went to wickes please avoid sounds good at first to save money but not worth it would be better as firewood which is where it will end up when court bit is sorted ??????????

kreative kitchen co sent a designer to my house, he measured up took the deposit, when the kitchen was delivered I was short of end panels I didn't know till it was being fitted. (Elvis - designers fault) It took over 2 weeks of argument with them and still not resolved as they were asking for more money. they suppose to supply me a complete kitchen which I paid for. soft close draws were the cheapest on the market (my carpenter advised me may God bless him) not to fit them as they would fall apart within 3 months as they were not the ones with the rods. I had to buy them separately and KKC gave me only £40 back after returning the soft close.. worst experience ever I have been robbed this was advertised on facebook be very careful what you sign and agree to, don't let them tell you its a one off trade deal.
