Can anyone recommend a company who can supply parquet flooring? We are looking to re-instate some authentic looking 1930s style parquet wood floor into our new house and don't know where to look...
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Where are you located? We used a company called Burke Bros who are in east London. We found them off www.salvo.co.uk.

Thanks - we are in London so will look them up!

I can give you some unhelpful help if you want.

We went to a showroom over the weekend where they had the most gorgeous floor tiles, including a parquet-effect in lovely subtle tones. I fell in love with it all but when we enquired about the parquet (I want it for my 1930s hall) they said that it was a brand new range and wouldn't actually be available until September.

It's not on the website nor in the catalogue but you can see a similar(ish) product on the website under art select / tudor brick.

oops. Just read another thread and it appears that links aren't working properly today for some reason. Google karndean.com

Did you find somewhere?

We went to this place on the North Circular near Edmonton for ours, and got the Natura Prime version. Our floor fitter was really impressed by the quality and it looks amazing now it's laid!

Darn it, another zombie thread! (But I still recommend the parquet we got! Grin)
