Moving to Tonbridge/Hildenborough area (Kent) - help!

Hallo everyone,

New on here so excuse me if I muck this up! We are planning on moving to the Tonbridge/Hildenborough area of Kent but currently don't know much about it. Anyone out there live near here? What's it like bringing up kids in this part of the world?

Am particularly interested in finding out about schools. DS is 5 and bright and chatty, DD is 3 and has SEN (Downs Syndrome). Ideally need nice primary school where they will both be happy. Currently live in SE London (Woolwich) so only way is up!

I was brought up in Hildenborough and only moved away when I went to university. I don't think I can help you with your search but I can tell you that I have very fond, happy memories of my childhood in Hildenborough.

My sister lives near there, she's on hols at the mo but I can ask when she gets back. I know my niece (who is now at university) was very happy growing up there

Been away so just back and seen this - many thanks. We seem to be narrowing our search to the north/centre of Tonbridge, in catchment for Slade Primary. If she knows anything about the school/area, would be great.
