What style would you pick for a 1930's house, am tempted to get cheap ones from B&Q as the children aren't careful with anything at all but am wondering if that'll be false economy.
I've seen some lovely solid oak doors i like for £150 per door but am not sure they'll go iyswim.

What about looking for 30s style doors at a reclamation-type place?

My parents chucked all their original 1930s doors out and replaced them with cheapo ones when I was a child, I could cry at the thought of it now

Oh no, would you find 6 the same though that's my only concern, everyone else seems to like matchy matchy interiors these days.
