Can anyone tell me why mortgage companies dont like giving out mortgages on Rema Cement Houses?

We have seen a lovely house, at a cheap price, found out it is cheap because it is made of Rema Concrete and it is hard to get a mortgage on it, any idea why?

It seems that Reema HP houses are made of pre-stressed concrete. This thread seems quite informative.

Thank you OldLady, explains well, the house we are looking at is a ex prison wardens house, built when the prison was built, will have to look into it further.
