I like the house with the moat, but I would prefer a moat that went all the way around with a drawbridge. Lets see a door-to-door evangelist get past that.

I like the island, it looks similar to Branson's. It's a bit too sunny for my celtic skin though.

Yes, I agree - we have come up against this barrier which is why we are having to pay silly money to one of the two agents in London with 'inside knowledge' of what is really being sold. One of them has a trainee who is fluent in Russian (important, apparently) although they tend to have been furnished by Russian designers so are not to my liking at all. Not keen on mock Hollywood pads at all; it is far too cold here for tiled floors in bedrooms

electrofagz - I have no idea of your budget or where you are looking, but I've spent a very significant amount of time looking in and around Belgravia/Mayfair/St James' lately for a 'bling hating' Fortune top 10 client, so have a good idea what's out there at the mo if you want to email me.....(I also speak Russian, although it is rusty!)

bratnav - not for any signficant time no - imo it's absolutely horrendous - designed for the Arab/Russian markets - but there are only a very small handful of people who c/would buy it, and it's so OTT that it's not even to their taste!
