Bright red floor in otherwise neutral kitchen. Yay or nay?

I'm thinking it's a bit too neutral and would like to add a bold splash of colour. I'm thinking ruby red quartz tiles would look great but don't know if it would be too much.
The cabinets are oak, appliances stainless steel, walls white and tiles stone/white.

We have orange marmoleum, off-white walls and kitchen units and oak worktops and tables. Looks fab.

Yes, planning on living here for a long time. I think I'd regret it if we went neutral with the floor.

Am in lust with some red worktops that have have shiny quartz in them.

Floor sounds fab.

We have a bright red tiled floor +oak worktops. I love it. It wakes me up in the morning and makes me feel cosy at night!
