Have you had the outside of your house painted, and how much did it cost, please?

We've had a couple of quotes but they are wildly different, so I wondered if you could let me know what sort of figure you paid - thank you!

The whole house? Or just the woodwork? How much were the quotes?

Our house is being rendered when finished (we're having a large extension) Imagine a 4 bed modern box and you have our house. I think the quotes for render and paint come in at about £6k so paint should presumably be quite a lot cheaper

I had the outside painted and our rotten sash windows restored with the front gate and bike cupboard (wooden) and it was 1400 (pound sign doesn't work).
