Just moved into great place. On long term let everything is one floor so easy acesss

Bar the attic rooom ds1 and Ds2 pit is up steep narrows stairs with no bannister now I do not intend going in their room to often 2 teen boys so bio hazard but there is need for bannister any idea it curves for 2 steps then straight up

can not stick out to much as when say narrow on mean narrow is 2 foot max width

I'd be very surprised if such a staircase met Buildings Regs. Is it officially a habitable room ie. can be used as a bedroom. Can you ask the landlord to install one, maybe perspex with a hand rail

Yes has ensuite to the door to bedroom Iis a firedoor and has proper windows that open wide enough to escape through so not a cowboy conversion

Think old country cottage sort of stairs hidden behind cupboard .was thinking of what can do then asking him if I can he's pretty easy going already agreed to me ripping out back lawn and astro turfing it

am happy enough to do myself but not sure what was best
