Just one wall of dds room (she's 3) is being painted and I know the paint we have isn't low VOC, or rather its not special ECO paint. How long before she can sleep in there? The alternative is sofabed in sitting room which also needs painting, so not ideal...

Not an expert, but we have always allowed a few days after painting to let the paint fully dry. I don't know about any lasting health problems with paint fumes, but I know it gives me a real headache sleeping in a room that's been newly painted (I refuse to sleep on sofa).
