Anyone got a white or cream gloss kitchen - what worktops do you have?

Am in the process of installing a new kitchen and have decided on cream gloss units. Have seen a white granite effect worktop that I like but wondered if I might need a contrastiong worktop rather than one in a similar colour. Am planning on an engineered wooden floor. If anyone could offer and advice/tips I would be grateful. TIA

Well, we have a sort of mushroom/beige coloured floor tiles in a very matt finish, and white and coffee coloured units in a high gloss finish (the floor and wall units are different colours). This week we are having a white granite-type worksurface fitted, so I will let you know. Fingers crossed it looks nice!

Just bought cream gloss kitchen, we went for a brown/black granite type worktop. Choosing the worktop was the hardest decision, so I feel for you! I must say though, I wouldn't have went for white worktops with cream gloss units.

The white worktops are in and it looks fabulous! We are going for a bright pinky red glass splashback to give the room some interest (matches a painting we have and can now hang in the kitchen). The sun bounces off all the white and gloss and I like it very much.

Although, it shows EVERY little mark - much more than my previous wooden worktops. (V easy to clean though).

Good luck!

We are going for cream units with a walnut worktop. Trying to decide what colour range to go with it. Got the choice between champagne, black and stainless steel. Not sure if the champagne and cream will work well together, or to go with black to pick up the black in the walnut or stainless steel to match in with the fridge/freezer....

Ideas anyone? (Sorry to be hijacking the thread a bit )

my parents have a cream kitchen and a solid wood worktop, walnut i think.

they have cream and deep, dark pink coloured tiles to match the deep raspberry colour walls... it's an open plan kitchen/dining room, goes the whole length of the house with a huge stone fireplace.

Forgot - units are matt cream not gloss.
