Cranleigh?

Whats it like to live in. We don't have to commute by train so considering it as cheaper than some of the Guildford villages. Any info welcome.

We almost rented there for a year, when my hubby worked down that way. Met lots of people who lived there. It's really lovely. The local garden centre I used to take my kids to, just for fun; so they could watch the parrots, see the big carp, rabbits, gerbils etc, we'd spend hours in the garden centre and then leave without buying anything loads of parents did it too. Nice cafe too.

Winkworth Arboretum is only down the road and lovely. They have an M&S and a Sainsbury's and lots of other great shops. I think it's a lovely place to live, although a bit of a drive into Guildford from there. But the only reason we didn't move there, was we couldn't find the right place, so we ended up in Godalming for the year.
