having had a very quiet day on sunday i had a drive around some of the villages between where i live and York. decided that in years to come id like to move closer to York as thats where i am from. so ive just nipped onto right move, stuck some names in the search engine and this popped up...im smitten. id love to get a flat in a massive conversion like this. i think when the kids have flown the nest id go for something like this.
what does everyone else think? does it seem pricey for a little piece of lovelyness? the grounds have me sold....imagine picnicking under one of those trees...

ah well. can but dream!

It is very very lovely. Don't know the prices in your area, it would probably be reasonable in mine. But the 2nd bedroom seems incredibly small.

Wow. Yes there seems to be a trend for carving up stately homes into smart flats, especially aimed at "empty nesters".

Lovely, but I bet the service charges would be horrid.

both of the bedrooms are tiny - nice living room and kitchen though
