I know it's not very exciting, but can anyone give me some advice about Megaflo hot water?

I've recently moved house into one with a Megaflo hot water system. The last few houses I've lived in have had Combi boilers and therefore hot water on demand. What I'm not clear about is how often I need to set the hot water to come on for. If it comes on for say an hour in the morning will there be enough hot water for showers etc? What happens with hot water for say washing your hands etc during the day, does the water not used stay hot? Do I have to set it to come on again in the evening for baths? How long does it take to heat, so if someone wants a bath in the middle of the day? Help, please??

We had one in our last house, it was very effective and kept water hot for a long time. That said, we'd set it to come on twice a day, early morning and early evening - seemed to cover all needs! Unless you run the washing machine etc a lot during the day, it should be fine in between for hand washing etc.

We have a large Megaflo, but only 2 adults showering and then baths for the 2 DC not every night. We just have the hot water on for 45 mins in the early evening, which is enough for the baths, shower in the evening for my DH and shower in the morning for me. Always enough hot water through the day (cold water feed washing machine and dishwasher though). I'm sure once the girls want showers themselves we will need the hot water on more. Just experiment and see what suits you.
