We having new kitchen fitted soon, but I'm so scared they're gonna rip out the old one and discover that all the electrics in the house need re-doing,there has definitly been some weird DIY done to this house before we bought it.
What would be a ball-park figure in worse case scenario do you reckon?

How big is your house? We have had two different houses rewired in the past 15 years and it was between £1800-£3000,for a 3 bed with outbuildings and garages included.

We've just had a 3 bed semi with 2 receptions and 1 kitchen and outbuilding rewired for £1200.

Ours is a 3 bed terrace, 1 living room and kitchen no other buildings.

Your amounts have eased my worries I was having visions of £10,000 or something equally scary!

Keep your fingers crossed the past owners haven't screwed it all up as much as we fear!!
