Is putting up wallpaper hard?

I have some lovely Osborne & Little wallpaper for our bedroom and don't want to ruin it. Should I try putting it up myself or is that a silly idea? I'm reasonably OK with DIY things and the like, but have never tried wallpaper before.

I've done lots of wallpapering and no, it's not that tricky. Messy maybe but not difficult.

if it is expensive wallpaper i would pay someone. i have put up lots of lining paper but if you balls that up you just rip it off and start again.

Hmm, don't want to ruin it. Maybe I should pay someone. Am unfortunately poorer than when I bought it!

Not particularly difficult only time-consuming and a bit messy. I papered our living room recently and it took the best part of a week doing bits and bobs each day rather than just going the whole hog in one. My paper was very fiddly though with a tiny pattern on a very light background so it was difficult to match up. Lots of plug sockets and light switches also made the work more awkward. Had I had more reliable help (hello DH!) I'd probably have been quicker!
