Do you mean internal lights sort of sunken into the ceiling??

If so we have them in our loft conversion and haven't changed them since first installed around 15 months ago. not sure if they are halogen though.

Don;t know but we had those kind of sunken spotlights in our old house too and lived there for just over 2 years I changed 1 bulb once.

i will ask him tomorrow and get back to you.
Any more detail that could help? like what room/how many bulbs etc. .

Maybe the wattage is too high? or voltage or whatever you call it.. [clueless emotcion]

ours go all the time, especially if I have charged myself up by shuffling across the floor in my slippers.

Dh reckons they cost a small fortune to run so plunges the house in darkness regularly

Your wiring might be knackered? or maybe a cheap job lot of bulbs

All the bloody time. Our electrician got us super-expensive ones that allegedly do not blow. What a crock of shit. At least one a week blows.

We never had a problem with them in our old house. Had them in our kitchen and I think we changed them all maybe once or twice in 7 years.
