Replacement table top

I've got a glass topped table that is 8 years old and the glass is looking worn (I did scratch it a few weeks after we got it and with 3 DC it is used and abused).

So I would like to replace the top but keep the base and reupholster the chairs.

What other materials to glass could I use for the top?

You could get a quote to have the glass replaced. Might not be too much. Worth a phone call or two.
