Party Wall agreement.

Hi, we've had plans drawn up and approved for a loft conversion. We also want to remove the chimney breast in one of the dining room on the ground floor. I've Googled (a lot!) and know that we need a party wall agreement with our neighbours. Is there a standard format for serving them a party wall notice? Do we just drop them a note saying what work we're having done? What if they don't sign an agreement? (This a distinct possibility after we objected to their teenage son practising his drums and electric guitar at all hours of the day).

Hello, we've just finished our loft conversion. Our builders provided us with a standard party wall agreement that we then just filled in the blanks (name, address, etc) and gave it to our next door neighbours to sign. Luckily, we're end of terrace so only needed to get one form signed....hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. How long did your loft conversion take to complete?
