Thinking it might be cheaper to stay put and add another 2 bdrooms than move within the area (n10).
Want to build over extension, move the bathroom from original house to new bit - turn bathroom into bedroom. Add a bedroom in extension then potentially add bedroom in v small loft. Loft is smaller than house footprint as bedroom height eats into the eaves. So would either need to raise roof or lower bedroom ceiling.
We built our extension about 4 years ago, building regs specified that we dig deep enough foundations in case another storey would be added in the future.
Hoping this sort of thing could be done for less than £100k. Anyone done this before? What kind of planning issues would we come across?
