Ikea washbasin units...anyone got one?

Thinking of buying a unit and washbasin from Ikea, just wondering if you have to buy their mixer taps or is it a 'universal hole' that any mixer tap would fit?

Thought I'd better check as know ikea are a bit awkward with for example you have to use their bulbs in their lamps.

Don't know about sinks, but I don't think you have to user their bulbs in their lamps anymore. We've never had that problem...

Can't help with your question, OP, but saw the basin units in IKEA on Saturday and was v impressed. If we hadn't spent over a year sourcing exactly the right antique one, we'd be in there like a shot! Bloody DH...

I'm not sure about them. They look like they would scratch.

Well I'll let you all know. we've ordered the Flaren sink unit and sink. Annoyingly you can't buy the taps or the matching mirror online!
