red & blue paint that you can use to indicate hot/cold on taps

Hi,
the joiner who fitted our bath made a mistake with the taps so cold water comes from the tap with the red dot and hot from the tap with the blue spot. It bugs me when we have people staying especially when they have kids with them. Its not possible to reverse the mistake but I wondered if I could get water resistant paint to paint over the dots that indicate blue and red. The dots are miniscule. Could this be a solution? If so where might I get such paint?

Airfix paints?

Gloss?

Craft paint?

Must be oil based

You can buy water resistant paint for changing the colour of your bathroom or kitchen tiles from a DIY shop but I have no idea if you can buy small quantities or those particular colours.
