We're moving to Manchester next year and I've been looking at various places to consider moving to..our budget is not massive so Hale and Bramhall and the like are out for us. We need to be able to get to Salford reasonably easily, and would preferably like to be near some green space if at all poss (DP has promised the kids a dog when we move ).
I've got some great suggestions & info from lurking on other similar threads but wonder if anyone can help with my latest query...
I really like the sound & look of the area around Urmston & Flixton, have seen some lovely houses and the schools seem good.
Is this area family-friendy? Schools ok? Anything I need to be aware of??
Any help/advice/warnings most welcome, lovely MN'ers.
