Is this like sealed bids?

Can you pull out if your buyer drops you in it (I know in Scotland you're tied into sealed bid)

Any advice on how to go about it? Wouldnt have a clue what to bid. We really like it but dont have a clue and cant offer too much over just to make sure we get it because we just cant afford to

ahhh

Yes - is a sealed bid but not legally obliging. If you know this house is the ONE bid the absolute most you can AFFORD. However, cash buyers and those ready to move are in theory often more likely to be successful, even if they are not the highest 'bidder'. Good luck !

thanks, good to know in case our sale fell through

I think it might be a case of highest bidder as its 6 people selling (inherited) and so it would be highest bidder to prevent one saying well we could have had more...
