To intergrate or not to intergrate?

So we're planning a new kitchen and we're trying to decide whether to have an integrated washing machine and dish washer.

Would you say there is a lot less choice of appliance if you go integrated, both in model and price?

How easy/difficult is it to replace them?

Any advice would be great thanks!

Don't know about dishwashers, but would def not recommend integrated washing machines. The choice is much more limited and you pay over the odds. Better still to go for an ordinary washing machine and just box it in with cupboard doors in front, if you want to keep it hidden. Have done this successfully with the last two kitchens we've put in.

I have a washing machine in a cupboard. It is not an integrated one, but you can't tell its there unless the cupboard is open. Best of both worlds!

integrated appliances cost a lot more, but if you can afford i would integrate. they are ugly at the best of times, why look at them if you dont have to?
