Random small child or pet having a wee?
Someone walking with a glass of water and spilling it?
Could it be dripping from ceiling through roof or something?

Well...I wasn't much help was I?

If it was condensation it usually builds up on the walls...it does seem odd...I am intrigued now..

How long has it been happening for, and how often?
