Combi boiler - Halstead okay? And is this a reasonable quote?

We're looking to get a combi boiler. We've been quoted £2.4k to remove our current boiler (in the kitchen) and fit a Halstead CBX32 in the airing cupboard. We're in E Anglia. I've been googling and found a few sites slating Halstead. Can anyone tell me if Halstead are okay, and whether the quote is reasonable? Ta.

well we got ours done for 2.1k and that included some jiggery pokery with pipes. so i would say high ish as this was in london.

We had a halstead and it was rubbish. Replaced it after three years (installed by previous owners, broke after a year!) Would recommend a valliant (sp?) or a Worcester Bosch instead.
We paid £2.5k in London earlier in the year which was about the going rate (our neighbours paid a similar price with different plumbers).
