Blocked toilet - could it be frozen waste pipe?

or just coincidence with weather. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this is the cold weather in which case how useful a very expensive emergency plumber is going to be...

I would be surprised but I guess its possible. We've had -15C for at least 3 nights on the trot now and its not getting above -2 in the days and ours hasn't frozen ... yet.

dp unblocked it today - we had a burst garden pipe so the pressure had been low and i think it just hadn't been flushing through properly!

Brrr.
