White gloss paint

What do we do to stop white gloss paint from changing to a dirty white? Is there a special type of paint (always use Dulux or Crown), or do we paint very often??

use water based gloss. it's not quite so shiny or hardwearing as oil based but it stays white. i actually prefer the finish - haven't used oil based gloss for years.

it's the oil that makes traditional gloss turn yellow.
