HIP help!!!

We are putting our flat on the market in Jan and need to get a HIP.

There seems such a variation in price. It appears the cheaper they are the slower the turnaround? Is that right.

Can anyone offer any pearls of wisdom?

We had ours through the estate agent who I will highly recommend [[www.housenetwork.co.uk] they sell your house for a flat fee, no commission and the HIP was done on the same day that they came to take measurements and photos of my house.

My house was less than £400 to sell as we paid the full amount up front (doesn't matter on the size of the property) and the HIP was £270 ish. My house is 3 bed detached.

My house was on the market 48 hours after the measuring up and HIP.

In that selling price they also do a floorplan and virtual tour. They have been great. The only thing they cannot do is have a list of people who they ring like a traditional Estate Agent, but even if you are registered with one they don't always ring you.
