Have heard you can get some great very realistic slate effect lino?

Any recommendations? Is for our small bathroom and real slate would be too cold I imagine.

we've just had our kitchen done in Amtico slate effect tiles. looks absolutely beautiful - even textured so you really cant tell unless you get down and touch it, but is warmer than slate and things don't shatter to a million pieces if dropped (unlike real slate tiles in our bathroom!). the Amtico wasn't nearly as expensive as I'd thought - we got it for about £13sq metre in a promotion.

we have celtic slate from the da vinci Karndean range and love it!

We have slate effect laminate in our utility, sounds shit looks great and very cheap, B&Q, and OK for damp rooms

Another vote for the Karndean. Cheaper than Amtico (also lovely).

We have also got the "slate" laminate flooring from B & Q in our bathroom and it looks really good and is not cold in the morning.
