Anyone got a White Company Classic Junior Wardrobe?

would you mind measuring the hanging part and telling me how wide it is please.

Need a not very tall wardrobe and a tallboy chest for awkward room where full height wardrobe will not fit.

If you have got one about how many children's hangers (with clothes on) do you think you can fit in?

Trying to decide if will be enough hanging space for DD1 (nearly 5). This is the only range I've found with a short wardrobe and a tallboy that matches but worried it's not really big enough as her only wardrobe?

122 high, 53 wide, and i reckon about 20 hangers worth? nb you could also take out internal shelf and have two rails.

its a lovely piece of furniture but it is quite bulky for what it is - the draws are really quite small and good do with being about 10-15 cm wider.

Do you really need a wardrobe? DS hasn't got one as his room is in the eaves. Trousers lay flat in the drawers and his shirts are folded. If you have a DD I realise that it might be more tricky with dresses etc.

Littledawley - we have managed up till now with no wardrobe and hang dresses etc behind her door but now she really needs to hang her school uniform and the dresses are bigger and more numerous!

Would you both (and anyone else!!) mind telling me what you think of mixing 2 furniture ranges?

What do you think of this john lewis wardrobe in the same room as the white company tallboy. (There is a chest of drawers to match the jl wardrobe but it's a bit bigger than I would have ideally liked.)

DH reckons it will be fine as they are both white - I am not so sure - any thoughts?

Not sure about mixing although you might be okay with white. Have you looked at Aspace? DD has the Anastasia range which is lovely althought it's cream rather than white. They also sell some bargin seconds which I have bought before.

Littledawley - think you are right - don't want to spend best part of £1000 kitting out a bedroom that ultmately ends up looking like a bit of a random mishmash - that's what we've got currently!!!

Have found a local stockist (which I never knew existed before) for this painted white wooden furniture with a big local showroom so hopefully can go and see it irl - would much rather see/touch before I buy!!

BTW, Anastasia range nice - have looked at before but too big for DD's room!
