After a long time of waiting, we are going to be ready to replace our hall, stairs and landing carpet soon. We have made serious mistakes in the past with getting the right sort/colour of carpet so I would appreciate some guidance. We have a dog (black) and 2 teenagers, I know we need something very heavy wearing but how heavy is that ...also what colours best hide the dirt ...can't believe I wrote that last bit!!
