Planning consent for a bakery?

DH and I want to open our own bakery. Does anybody know what class of planning consent you require to make and sell bread and cakes? I know you need general retail consent for the selling part, but what about for the making/bakery part on the same premises?
TIA

Thanks, but does anybody know for example if a premises has permission to trade as a cafe (A3 planning consent) could it be used as a bakery kitchen instead?
Sorry to be PITA, I phoned planning dept who were really unhelpful and said they needed to know specific addresses etc, could not answer a general enquiry. I can't ask them to investigate dozens of different shops so some guidance would be great!
