What normally happens if you'd like vendor to leave some items?

Wait until you get the list of fixtures - this will tell you what is and isn't already included in the contract. Ideally you would want to make a private arrangement over any items not already included (as you and the vendor will presumably end up with either stamp duty or estate agent fees based on the cost.

I have just filled out my fixtures and fittings list, generally if it is built in like my oven and dishwasher, they stay put.

I am leaving all blinds, as they are fitted into the window recess and all the downstairs curtains as that is what the buyer asked for.

I have said that I am taking all upstairs curtains but again there are blinds in every window and the curtains match the bedcovers. Can't see them wanting digger/truck curtains when they don't have any children

Usually furniture goes with them unless it is made to measure. Wait to see the list. Sit on those hands
