What's the best oil for oak worktops and floors?

Getting a bit confused by all the different kinds and brands available!

Apparently Osmo oil rocks for floors according to my dp. It's not cheap but worth every penny!

Tung oil is what he uses for worktops.

I second the Osmo stuff but just to warn you that the floor can become very slippery.

Thanks! Does anyone know where I can get tung oil from that isn't mail order as I have some worktops that need oiling fairly soon and don't want to risk the post at the moment!!

Where abouts do you live? John Lewis normally has it and you might even get it from B&Q / Homebase etc. We've got a top-notch ironmongers and they do it...so maybe have a look to see if you've got one near you. We've got some in the shed if you're in the South Bucks area
