Where can I find a smart outdoor light (to go above the front door)?

Any suggestions?
I've had a quick look on line but haven't seen much that I like and I'm that keen on what B&Q/Homebase had to offer.

Needs to look ok on our slightly wonky Victorian house, so ideally nothing too modern...

TIA

What's the budget? Jim Lawrence has gorgeous ones here but they are £££

Pannacotta · 24/10/2009 22:17

Thanks Lord, there are some really nice light fittings on there.
I really like the hanging Hackney lantern but not sure DH would agree to shelling out £250.
The stable light is good too and less ££.

I thought this site looked good but never used it. Think there is a code something like fandf, or friends and family or f&f... 10% off from memory but might not work now!

LordVetinarisApprentice · 24/10/2009 22:26

I like the stable light and quite like the ship's light too. It's all v. nice and way out of my budget!

LordVetinarisApprentice · 24/10/2009 22:31

OOOOh... more stable lights here less ££

Thanks both of you, the Holloways site especially has loads of lovely lights, now I just have to make a decision...

CybilWrites · 25/10/2009 20:53

Does anyone know where you can find those outdoor lights that are basically a five point star? Does anyone know what I mean?

Jacaqueen · 26/10/2009 14:30

Thanks for those links I'm looking for 2 lights for either side of our new garage. House is Victorian not sure wether to go for traditional lantern style or something a bit more contemporary. I like the Garden Trading ones, sort of industrial almost.

CybilWrites · 26/10/2009 14:35

susie I've only seen indoor versions of those, ages ago in IKEA

susie100 · 26/10/2009 16:41

Thanks Cybil will check them out! If not there are some lovely lantern style ones highlighted on this thread.
