What is the point of including local search in a HIP and then not having to update it eveyr 6 months?

I do think HIPs are a bit fucking rip off

or even a BIG fucking rip off! anmd yes, i am buying a house wiht an out of date search

Our EA says he doesn't know of anyone who has actually read one!.....and solicitors fees haven't decreased either...
