Hello, living in N16 with DH and DS age 2 at the minute and want to get some more space. Someone suggested Teddington - good schools, green spaces, probably same house prices but, well, nicer.
Would it be a massive culture shock moving from here to there?
We thought through things we don't like about here - ultra trendy pushy parents (being more average ourselves!), crime, vice, the police I saw outside the secondary school at home time today to deter dealers - but we love the diversity, the independent cafes and shops, the general buzz, the park, our fantastic childminder....
Also never lived anywhere else in London since moving from ireland 8 years ago.
Anyone make the move before?
