Tell me about Halifax - moving there soon

Moving to Halifax in October, don't know the area at all. Will be near Manor Heath Park, are there any baby/toddler groups in the area? Good things for young kids in the area?

Things like petting farms, soft play centres, etc?

Have done a google but not found much. TIA

They have EUREKA, which is great for young children. (I haven't been for ages though) It's a science, interactive type place.

Not sure about mother and toddler groups as I don't live there, only go up to visit family.
