How to repair laminate worktop

Our landlord installed a kitchen island with a laminate worksurface. We have managed to chip the edging in a couple of places and would like to patch it up so he doesn't knock it off the deposit.

Can you buy laminate edging in that way? Or is there anything else we can do. So far my option is felt tip.

Yuo can buy a roll of laminate edging and you just glue it on - you normally get it when you buy the worktops, so if you go to somewhere that sells worktops I imagine they'd sell it.
