I have my floor plans for my new kitchen but I can't work out how you convert the measurements into real size.

The scale is 1:50. If it measures 9cm across on the plan what is the real size and how do you work it out.

1:50 means that every 1cm on the plan equals 50cm in real size. So multiply each measurement x 50.

9 x 50 = 450cm (or 4.5 metres)
