Window shutters

Has anyone put shutters up on their windows. I have seen them for £250 per square metre, but having two windows would have preferred to pay less. Has anyone any links for cheaper prices.

My neighbours made theirs, they shut from the inside. Ikea kitchen doors affixed to the window frame, painted white and they look amazing!

Thanks but I was thinking of the ones that open and closed.
