stuff falling out of bunk beds

my 6 yr old knocked his water bottle and book out of the top bunk last night - he stashes them under his pillow, but I'm worried they'll land on his little brother's head. Does anyone know of something that attaches to bunk beds so that its easy to keep things safe? cheers

I've seen (and I can't remember where now - sorry) bedside pockets. You could sew some/adapt a bag or somethiing. They attach to the side of the bed.
I've probably seen them in one of those catalogues you get gltc, jojo maman bebe etc.

This sort of thing, but I've seen ones that run the length of the bed
