any suggestions where to get the best quality/price for heated chrome towel rails?

Not sure about the wickes/b and q ones......

not keen on them, they don't provide heat. we have one in bathroom and I wish it were a radiator. looks nice but doesn't do the job.

Try a salvage yard.

Agree with goldenpeach, rather pointless appliances, barely warm up the towels and ours were the top of the market ones, what a waste of money....
