no - not all of them. There's another one that some agents use instead of rightmove and the name has escaped me at the moment

Prime Location is OK (have regular email dose of property porn from them, left over from when we thought we might move to Devon but didn't).

It does seem to have a lot of the more upmarket estate agents though.

I need to keep an eye on something and can't keep looking at thousands of sites so what is the best way of going about it without having to register?

Have a look at both. I have found that some agents are one with Prime Location and some with Right Move. I get an email from Prime every day with property in the areas we are looking. Haven't registered with Rightmove yet.

You can register fairly easily on line. Then you just get regular emails.

So it's just a question of which sites they pay for. Some very old-fashioned estate agents don't use any.

There is no one single destination that keeps an eye on every single property on the market if that's what you're asking.

I would look up the local estate agents and check which sites they advertise on.

It will not be 100% though. There's always the possibility of a private or very fast sale. Our flat never went up at all, even though the estate agents used Rightmove, because it got an offer the week it went on the market.

Why not register to receive updates? You can set up a search with postcode, number of bedrooms etc, and get emailed all new listings that meet the criteria.

So, really I need to google to see what estate agents cover the area I am looking in.

try zoopla - they track house prices of those that are up for sale alongside those that aren't. So you see how much 'yours' should be based on the last time it sold, and the trend in the street generally.

Do you want to buy the house? If so, leaflet the area in the hope they contact you.

If it's nosiness, do you know someone who passes it regularly that could keep an eye out for a board & let you know?

I registered on al sorts of sites, private sales, auction sites, Scotland have the GSPC & ESPC type thing, depends where you are there may be local equivalents.

I always look at Findaproperty.com, rarely Rightmove.

I do rightmove and propertyfinder, it seems to cover large number of agents.

If itś a particular house, and youŕe interested in buying it, I definitely leaflet as Jbck suggested, and I also leave my details with all the estate agents in the area asking to be contacted if that particular property comes up. Some houses never make it onto any of the websites, and some, of course, sell without ever involving an agent.
